Introduction & Applications
It is a pale yellow, tenacious, unctuous substance obtained from the wool of sheep,
having a faint but characteristic odor. It is also called wool fat, wool wax or wool grease.
Cosmetic grade lanolin can be used in cold creams, anti -wrinkle creams, anti-cracking creams, shampooing creams, hair conditioners, hair lotions, lipsticks and high grade soaps.  Commonly used as water-in- oil emulsifier, is an excellent moisture material. It can soften and restore dry or rough skin due to lack of natural moisture. It maintains the skin's usual moisture content by delaying, rather than completely preventing, water from penetrating the epidermal layer.
The Odorless type has lighter color, and is more suitable for use in cosmetics.
