Introduction & Applications
Salicylic acid is a fat soluble organic acid with chemical formula C7H6O3. Appearance is a white crystalline powder, melting point is 158~161℃. It is found in willow bark, white bead leaves and sweet birch in nature. It is an important fine chemical raw material.
This product is a disinfection antiseptic medicine, has the effect of dissolving the skin cutin, used for local hyperplasia of cutin and skin fungal infection, formulate spiritus for external use, treatment of cutin and ringworm, its sodium salt can be used in antipyretic, analgesic and anti rheumatism, etc., in the pharmaceutical industry for the synthesis of aspirin drugs raw material, also used as a dye, spices, rubber and food industry etc.
