Sodium starch glycolate is a kind of anionic starch ether. It is a white
or yellow powder and an electrolyte soluble in cold water. It is a kind of
modified starch, belongs to ether starch. It is a kind of water-soluble anionic
polymer compound. It is tasteless, non-toxic, not easy to mold. When the
degree of substitution is greater than 0.2 or more It is soluble in
water.
